February 2021- A Scratch Night

Hello again!

While January was all about planning, February is where we’ve put our plans into action with our virtual fundraising scratch night ‘Why Isn’t This Over Yet?’

We organised a fun filled cabaret style show consisting of monologues, songs and what might just pass as comedy. Creating digital theatre has been interesting, seeing audience engagement first hand has been really reassuring for me that we’re on the right path, even if my camera still confuses me. I’m so thankful to every member of our cast and everyone who bought a ticket, these kinds of shows will allow us to fund bigger and more elaborate projects in the future, so I speak for the Framework Team when I say a big Thank You and Well Done!

Exciting times in our weekly meetings! We’ve been working on structuring the company and defining who we are and how we will move forward in the theatre scene, a topic that I’m sure will pop up in future blogs as discussions continue.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to tease a pretty significant potential partnership in the not-too-distant future… I wonder who I could be talking about? You’ll just have to watch this space to find out.
